This is a charity set up to raise money to support pioneering breast cancer research programmes in Ireland. Researchers are constantly looking for new and improved ways of treating patients with breast cancer. They conduct relevant biological research into breast cancer, its causes and potential treatments. Breast Cancer Ireland’s goal is through research, to transform breast cancer from often being a fatal disease to a chronic illness that can be maintained through treatment. They can achieve this by working collaboratively with centres nationwide helping to speed up discovery times which ultimately will affect more positive treatment outcomes for patients. |
